About Puja
Śani Trayodaśī is a highly significant tithi dedicated to Śani Devatā, the divine authority governing karma, discipline, justice, and endurance. Worship performed on this day is especially powerful for pacifying adverse karmic influences, easing prolonged suffering, and restoring balance caused by past actions. Observances on Śani Trayodaśī are traditionally prescribed for those undergoing intense karmic phases such as Sade-Sati, Ashtama Śani, Kantaka Śani, and long-standing delays in life.
On 14th February 2026, Śani Devatā Ārādhanā and Havan is performed with devotion and strict adherence to śāstric injunctions, seeking Śani Bhagavān’s grace for stability, patience, righteousness, and gradual transformation of hardship into strength.
The puja begins with proper saṅkalpa, followed by Śani Devatā Ārādhanā, wherein the Lord is invoked through prescribed mantras, offerings, and upacāras. This ārādhanā harmonizes the devotee with Śani’s corrective energies, fostering acceptance, discipline, and inner resilience.
This is followed by Śani Havan, where potent Vedic mantras dedicated to Śani are offered into the consecrated fire. Through Agni, the divine messenger, the mantra-śakti and the devotee’s saṅkalpa are carried forth, enabling karmic purification, obstacle reduction, and long-term stabilization of life circumstances.
The scriptures praise devotion to Śani Devatā, declaring:
“शनैश्चरः प्रसन्नो हि ददाति सिद्धिमुत्तमाम्”
—
“When Śani is pleased, he bestows supreme accomplishment and enduring stability.”
Our learned team of Pandits at VedaVidhi will perform this sacred Śani Sādhanā and Havan with strict adherence to authentic Vedic tradition, maintaining mantra-śuddhi, ritual discipline, and śāstric sanctity, seeking Śani Devatā’s blessings for karmic relief, justice, patience, discipline, and lasting inner strength in the lives of devotees.
